Content (description)

Four bands are shown one above the other. On the first frieze are shown, from left, boukranion,sympulum, flamen's cap, lituus, whip (?), axe and knife crossed, acerra, candelabrum, patera, oenochoe and laurel branch. In the second band, from left, there are a flamen's cap, whip (?), axe and dagger set diagonally, acerra, oenochoe and laurel branches, patera and a hanging cloth. The third band is the same as Bm 9. 2b: anchor, acrostolium (object from ship's stern), prow with boar's head to l., boukranion, simpulum, a decorated acerra with open lid and a laurel twig.
the fourth as Bn 9. 2a: simpulum, boukranion and vittae, decorated prow with wolf's head to r., steering paddle, ornament from ship's prow with swan's head, anchor and aplustre ( ornament from ship's stern).
