Description

Content (description)

On left a bearded male raises his right arm in front and his left arm behind him, though both arms cease just below the shoulder. His legs are encased in a sheath of rectangular scales, like those of a palm tree, and this ends in a band round the ankles. There is shaggy hair on his feet and ankles. The figure is viewed from the left side.
On right is a bearded male with a tree trunk for the lower part of his body. He wears a turban and is swathed in a volumninous cloak, which hides the junction of body and trunk. ( as Bn 15. 156 but in reverse)
