Content (description)

Round the bottom of the capital is a band of rosettes from which spring acanthus leaves. Between the leaves at the top are palmettes. A band of bead and reel and ovulo runs between this and the abacus, which is concave. Gaping satyr masks are set on a band of ovulo beneath projecting sections.
Inscribed: Ant. Sala. exc. and the cypher G.P beneath a three pointed star.
