Description
29: front. Two putti, with cloaks round their necks and flying behind them, fly to centre where they hold a roundel. In it is the bust of a man holding a roll and turning his head to his right. On left and right a putto with a cloak flowing behind him moves outwards but turns to look towards the centre. Each holds up a small animal as a hound leaps against him in an effort to reach it. The putto on left holds a pine branch in his outer hand (this part is missing of the right putto). Beneath the flying putti recline two figures with their backs to the centre, on left a half-draped female with a vine cluster in her lap and a cow at her feet, on right a half-draped male with a sea-monster among waves at his feet. They both turn to look at the scene between them, where two putti paddle a small boat over waves. On the top border over the roundel is the inscription PALLADI DULCIS.
30: right side. A nude putto bends to a clump of corn on left. On right is a pine tree, from which hang a bow and a quiver.
31: left side. A male wearing a short tunic and boots, with a vine wreath on his head, bends to a tall basket of fruit on right.
