Dionysus, wearing a drape over his legs and his left arm and a vine wreath on his head, reclines resting on his left elbow on a mound. Beneath the mound can just be seen the face and legs of a frog-like creature. With his right hand he holds a cup on his knee, in his left he has a cluster of grapes. A panther sits by him, its foreleg on his left arm, and looks up at him.
