Description
The vase is a lidded spherical bowl with a low foot. The body is decorated with two bands of convex fluting separated by a horizontal band, the ornament of which is not clear. Elaborate handles rise in high floral volutes from the curved neck and head of a swan at the shoulder. The low lid has a tall laurel bush as knob.
The bowl stands on a three-sided base. Its concave sides are decorated with a pattern formed by a pair of wings. Down the junction of the sides runs a volute ending in an animal paw.
