Content (description)

The letters A, B and C correspond to letters on no. 23, indicating the position of the reliefs.
25. A. Jupiter, bearded, stands to right. He wears sandals and a himation, which cascades from his left shoulder, and his long hair is bound by a fillet. He carries a thunderbolt in his right hand, while his left grasps a tall sceptre, which rests on the ground.
26. B. A draped female, wearing a diadem and with her hair in a snood, stands to left on a round base. She holds a tall sceptre with her right hand.
27. C. Hermes, wearing a petasos and a cloak round his shoulders, stands to right on a round base, turning his back to the viewer. He holds out a patera in his right hand and with his left holds the horn of a springing ram.
