Content (description)

Dionysus, wearing a vine wreath and a skin across his chest, stands with his left leg crossed in front of his right and leans with his left arm on the small Pan, who holds his right arm round the back of Dionysus. Dionysus holds a thyrsos in his right hand and in his left a small vase with volute handles; a tiny thyrsos seems to be standing in the vase. Pan, who also wears a skin, holds a pedum in his left hand. There is a tree trunk between the two figures.
