Description

Content (description)

Nude Silenus stands and holds the neck of a wine skin, which rests on a tree trunk on his right, and looks down at it; he holds a cup in his left hand. His long beard is arranged in ringlets and on his bald head he wears a vine wreath, from which fillets fall on to his shoulders. Over his left arm he has a drape, which passes behind him and cushions the wine skin on the tree trunk. He wears shoes.
