Content (description)

Diana (?) wears a diadem, high boots, a short tunic beneath a skin, which is fastened round her body, and a cloak over her left arm. She stands with her right arm by her side, her left arm outstretched and pointing upwards over the head of a draped female statue, on to which falls the drapery of her cloak. The statue stands with her right hand outstretched holding a crab-like object, perhaps a tiny infant lying down. Her left hand rests on a quiver by her side. The statue stands on a low rock pedestal.
