Identification
Painting of a columbarium
assigned by cataloguer
The tomb was probably situated at the south-western extremity of the property, close to the Via della Navicella, the modern representative of the ancient road which passed through the Porta Querquetulana(?) of the Servian Wall. This gate would naturally have been situated at the top of the descent, so that the tomb would have been on the slope.
