Description
Psyche, with butterfly wings, holds a vitta in both hands. Mars on the left proffers a mask (?) with his left hand. Staff in his right.
Ashby: 'The representation finds no parallel elsewhere, for as far as I have been able to discover, there is no ground for the association of Psyche with a warrior. The mask, too, I cannot explain'.
