Small Panel: Female amongst reeds

Bn 7. 4-33 These small oblong panels are very similar to the stuccoes of the tomb figured by Paoli, Antichita di Pozzuoli, Pl. 32, 34 (see Dubois, Pouzzoles antique (Bibl. des Ec. Franc. fasc. 98), p. 351) and though the correspondence is in no case exact, it is probable that they belonged to this or a similar tomb at Pozzuoli

Small panel of plain ground with female with drapery over her lower limbs moving to right, with basket of flowers in front of her: reeds to left and right. Colour greenish-grey.
