Description
Content (description)
On left a soldier (?) emerges from an arch in a city wall, over which various rectangular pedimented buildings are shown; the wall ends abruptly in a curved line. Then a centaur rushes to right and a draped female falls to her knees at the feet of a male who wears a tunic and a himation. He is flanked by two females, the one on left is draped and holds a sphere towards him, the other is half-draped, has a cornucopia on her arm and holds a wreath over his head. On far right a river god reclines among reeds beneath a cave, from behind which leaps a spaniel-like animal.
