Bn 9. 40, 41, 42 form a group and are all labelled no. 86 on the mount
Description
On left two panthers, ridden by putti, pull a chariot to right, on which Dionysus sits on a high throne, supported by a nude male. A curtain hangs in the background. Pan, a satyr and a maenad accompany the chariot. A tree separates this group from the scene on the right. Satys support a drunken Silenus, who is slim nad muscular. Pan follows with his hoof over a low altar (?). On right are a maenad and satyr. A satyr and lion move right behind a tree. In the background a satyr carries a thyrsos, a maenad and a vannus.
