Description
One side of the vase is shown, and the roundel from the bottom.
Side: at the lip of the vase are set two Pans' heads. On left a nude youth moves to right in front of a syzygy, led by a flying putto, and clasps the arm of a half-draped female seated at the foot of a tree. She embraces a snake (?) with her left arm. On right stands a bearded male in a loose drape, his left foot raised, his elbow resting on his knee and his chin on his hand. There is a tree on right.
