Physical description
The Ewer is of helmet shape on circular gadrooned and foliate foot. Cast harp shaped and scrolled handle. Lip with foliated scrolls and a shell on matted ground. A tiny fleur de lis is engraved below the lip. Lower body has vertical palm leaves. The Ewer is engraved with the coat of arms of Hill.
