Physical description
The Basin is plain, with a wide rim moulded on the edge. The coat of arms of Hill is on the central boss, surrounded by a circle of raised embossed spokes. The engraving on both the Ewer and Basin is contemporary and identical. Not typically Augsburg in shape and ornamentation but not English either.
