Oval soup tureen with ovolo edge, and fluted border. Two ornamanted handles on the body and a larger double scrolled handle on the cover. A longer, scrolled and floriated handle on the lid. On four claw feet. The body is engraved with the arms of Chapman. His crest is on the lid.
