The body of this cup has an embossed and chased design of three human figures in classical dress, set within three panels, with scrolls and flowers. The chasing is entirely 19th century.
The cup and cover were presented to Eton in 1919 by Dr W. Fairbank of Windsor, after his two boys had left the school.

The Cup with baluster stem and circular foot. The body with three human figures in classical dress embossed and chased in three panels and surrounded by scrolls and flowers. The chasing is entirely 19th Century and the cover is associated.
The Cover has a finial composed of three grotesque brackets and three plain brackets, embossed with scrolls and flowers.
