Physical description
Mahogany sideboard; of bowed form, with a pierced teardrop gallery, interposed by posts with ivory roundels, above a frieze drawer with brass handles and demi-lune backplates above a recessed arch concealing a deep drawer, flanked on either side by a cupboard door inlaid with an oval flame mahogany medallion, the right side door with later fittings, both doors inlaid with ivory shield-shaped escutcheons on square tapering legs and spade feet, with ebonised stringing throughout
