Walnut and ebonised marquetry sewing table; the rectangular hinged quarter-veneered top, inlaid with stylised foliage at the corners, with a brass strut and a fitted interior with 12 compartments, with one large and 4 small later velvet covered lids, one with a ring-pull and four with pierced roundel handles, above a lapetted frieze, with a square tapering well, on a turned and globular stem, four leaf carved ebonised cabriole legs on inward scrolled feet, with fruitwood stringing throughout
