Comments

This stained glass window is a World War I Memorial. The design was suggested by Provost James and is based on Dante's version of the Heaven of Mars, home of the warriors of the Faith, in the 'Paradiso'.

Lettering, lower left (within light 1a): 'MY HEART IS TOWARD / THE GOVERNORS OF ISRAEL / THAT OFFERED THEMSELVES / WILLINGLY AMONG THE PEOPLE'

Lettering, lower right (within light 1c): 'I AM DISTRESSED FOR THEE, MY / BROTHER JONATHAN'
