A report on the completion of the 1905 Boer War Memorial project, which involved redesigning the east end of College Chapel, included:
"The fine brass of Provost Lupton has been cleaned and relaid in his Chantry in the original matrix of Purbeck stone. The still finer brass of Provost Bost has been removed from the Chantry, cleaned and restored to its matrix in the Ante-chapel at the expense of the fund." [From manuscript ref: MISC/EMF/10]

Content (description)
Effigy surmounted by triple canopy, foot-inscription between the bases of canopy-shafts, and two shields of arms. Priest in processional vestments: he wears body-garment showing at wrists, cassock, surplice, tailed almuce showing six tassles: the hair is thick and irregular.
