Rosewood carriage clock; of rectangular form with a stepped top enclosing a raised glass panel, the engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals and decorated with scrolling foliage and acanthus, the case surmounted by a gilt-bronze handle, with glazed sides, the movement striking on two gongs and signed, on flat bun feet; with brass winding key
