assigned by cataloguer
Wall cross, with matt white textured surface with carved geometric holes and a central raised blue cross
This cross relates to Gordon Baldwin's four crosses for Eton College Lower Chapel, which are mounted within the arches of the south wall. It is one of two versions not displayed within the Chapel. However, the design is very similarto the crosses at the Chapel. It may be that Baldwin made an at least five very similar examples of the Lower Chapel crosses, before selecting the four to be used.
