'THOMAS SHOTTER BOYS 1803-1874 N.W.S.
Eton seen at a distance over meadows. The school founded by Henry IV [as written] in 1440 near Windsor but in Buckinghamshire.
Pencil 3 5/8 x 12 3/4 inches, sketchbook pages conjoined.
In 1849 Boys exhibited two w/cols on Windsor and of Eton at the N.W.C.S.'
