Comments

The exhibition in the Verey Gallery celebrates the bequest of 13 works from Old Etonian Charles Nugent (1962–2023; CNCA, MCM, 1975–79), a specialist in drawings and watercolours. Twelve were by Nora Davison. This additional work bequeathed by Nugent was painted by Russell Dawson, described as an 'Eton landscape painter', and shows Weston's house with its original concealed main entrance. The front door was later moved to the wall seen to the right of this image.
