Comments

Here, Angelo's boarding house is viewed from Common Lane. The old part of Angelo's was built in 1780–90. Large additions were made to it by the Rev. Thomas Dalton, a master at the College, who occupied the house from 1872 to 1894. In 1880 Dalton extended the house towards Common Lane, adding a new wing to accommodate some 25 additional boys' rooms.
