The anglers (both a lady and a gentleman), are on the Eton bank, with the full range of the buildings of Windsor Castle viewed across the river. The East range buildings, part of the private apartments of the Castle, are on the extreme left, and on the right, behind the cluster of domestic buildings on the Eton bank, the Castle's Curfew Tower is visible.
