Comments
'Surely a 'vedute ideale' inspired by the coast near Naples at Possillipo. Such worked were produced by artist who visited Rome and Naples in the middle of the eighteenth century. Both Richard WIlson and Alexander Cozens produced their versions, and influenced their pupils.
