Comments
This view is very similar to Edith Brinton's interior or College Chapel.
Spurrier seems to have come to Eton because of her connection to Nora Davison. The 1921 census shows Spurrier resident at Davison's flat above the Post Office in Eton, along with a female servant. However, this may have been a temporary arrangement. Spurrier visited Eton regularly and often exhibited her Eton watercolours jointly with Davison at Spottiswoode’s, the boys’ bookshop, on the Fourth of June and St Andrew’s Day.
