Architect Henry Woodyer (1816–1896) was responsible for the thorough restoration of College Hall undertaken from 1856 to 1868.
Woodyer’s double scissor truss type roof can be seen in this print of the interior. It was replaced by a plainer roof of laminated timber in 1968.
