Comments
The three Montgomery sisters, Barbara, Elizabeth and Anne, daughters of the Irish aristocrat Sir William Montgomery, are here seen decorating a statue of Hymen, the Roman god of marriage, with a garland of flowers. The sisters were known as the Irish Graces.
