This print is from a series of 25 lithographs, published in 1846 to commemorate the week-long visit of Louis Philippe, King of France, to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1844. The image shows the King, Queen and Prince within College Library at Eton College on 12 October that year. The party had crossed the river from Windsor Castle to visit the College.
