Comments
During the Second World War, fruit and vegetables were in short supply. The Government campaign to encourage people to grow their own vegetables used the slogan ‘Dig for Victory’.
Painter Gerald Leet held teaching positions at Ealing College of Art, Brighton College of Art and Eton College. At Eton, his colleagues in the Drawing Schools included L.F. Menzies Jones and Wilfrid Blunt.
