'Felton Elwell Hervey. Born 1782, eldest son of Felton Lionel Henry Hervey. Entered Eton, 1792; left 1799. Entered Army, 15th Light Dragoons; A.D.C. to the Duke of Wellington at Waterloo. Assumed the name of Bathurst, 1801. Created a Baronet as Sir Felton Hervey- Bathurst, 1818. Died 1819. 51 x 40 inches. Painted by THOMAS HEAPHY. To the knees, standing figure; in uniform of 15th Light Dragoons.'
