Identification
Queen Victoria
Sculpted bust of a young woman in classical dress
The only new feature in the Upper School since last year consists in the addition of exquisitely sculpted busts of Her Majesty and the Prince Consort, presented to them by the College. We cannot, however, compliment them on the judgment displayed in choosing a position for the figures of the Queen and Prince. They are placed above the principal entrne, almost out of sight, and looking from instead of towards each other.'
