Previous ownership

Leggatt, Logie Colin: On long-term loan from Neil Colquhoun, originally loaned in the late 1980s. W.R. (Reggie) Colquhoun, K.S. 1917, used to ‘fag’ for Logie at Eton, and was given the Field Game scarf as a gift for services rendered before Logie left the College in 1913. Reggie went on to join the Scots Guards and was himself wounded in France. Logie apparently had photographs of his three fags in his dugout, and Reggie was one of those. Reggie went on to be a Housemaster, and the scarf passed to Neil when he was at Eton and played the Field Game. Neil (a Housemaster himself by this stage) gave it to the College on long term loan.
