Hincks Herbarium: A collection of approximately 3800 sheets of botanical specimens collected by Rev. William Hincks and contributed to by various other collectors, mostly between c.1780-1850
Also includes botanical illustrations

The collection was rediscovered during a refurbishment of the Eton College Natural History Museum which took place between 1994-2000
During 2001-2004 the sheets were orgainsed into contemporary genera and families, identifications were checked and where necessary new names were pencilled onto sheets which had incorrect or outdated names
