Fk.2.03(33)
An answer to the second Whig. query, viz. whether the same new counsellors did not intend to have a peace at any rate, when they order'd our ministers abroad to stop the French plenipotentiaries? And whether the French King was not to rash, and secure, when he recall'd his ministers so soon, before his friends here came out from behind the curtain, and had it in their power to give him what terms he pleas'd? With some remarks on Dr. Smalridge's and Mr. Crosse's paper relating to the late test.
