Horologiographia, post priorem aeditionem per Sebast. Mvnstervm recognita, & plurimum aucta atq; locupletata, adiectis multis novis descriptionibus & figuris, in plano, concavo, convexo, erecta superficie &c.
Basileae : Excudebat Henricus Petrus, M.D.XXXIII [1533].
[56], 334, [2]p : ill. (woodcuts) ; 20cm. (4to).
Colophon: "Basileae excudebat Henricus Petrus, mense Augusto, anno M.D.XXXIII".
Numerous woodcut ill. and diagrams; the ill. are those of the 1531 ed. with numerous additions. The cylindrical sundial (p. [269]), the nocturnal on p. [294], and perhaps the Schema concaui (p. 278) are after Hans Holbein.
A folded plate of a wall sundial was originally intended to accompany the work and is described in the last chapter, in which Münster explains that the plate was published separately; the dial described appears as a folding plate in his Rudimenta mathematica, 1551, and his Der Horologien, oder Sonnen vhren, künstliche Beschreibung, 1579.
Errata: p. 334.
Includes index.
Adams identifies two issues of this work (M1918 and M1919); in this issue (M1919) p. 334 is numbered correctly; in the other issue (M1918) it is misnumbered 534.
