A three page autograph letter from Lord Byron to John Cowell at Eton asking him to protect his friend's son who is about to start at Eton. His friend is a 'Mr Hanson' and Byron asks Cowell to take 'some little notice of him' until he has found his feet, and recalls a cricket match he played at Eton.
