19th century black goatskin with elaborate gold-tooled border and corner decorations with foliate and floral motifs; spine divided in six comparments by raised bands with gold-tooled spine title in second compartment and gold-tooled borders in other compartments; gilt text block edges; marbled endpapers with gold-tooled turn-ins.
