Deed of trust between 1: Phebe Greenwood of Frogwell, co. Cornwall, widow and John Creed of Buckland Monachorum, co. Devon, DD 2: William Berriman, Fellow of Eton and 3: Sir Francis Henry Drake of Place in the parish of Buckland Monachorum, Bt., Robert Watts of Saltash, co. Cornwall, mariner and William Creed of Kingsbridge, co. Devon, Gent.
Recites will of Francis Rous relating to the establishment of exhibitions at Pembroke College, Oxford. To prevent the difficulties that have arisen "by reason of their distance from Eaton Schooll" parties 1) appoint 3) as trustees to receive the annutities and expend them on the exhibitions, to inspect the execution of the trust and appoint relations of Francis Rous when possible. Berriman to act with 1) in nominating Eton scholar if there is no relation, and after their deaths this right to be vested in the Provost and three senior Fellows.
