Administrative / Biographical history
The Verey Gallery is a gallery converted from the former Austen Leigh room in College. This ground floor room at the Cloisters end of College was for centuries the Provost's kitchen. In 1950 it was converted, in memory of E.C. Austen-Leigh, Lower Master 1887-1905, into a lecture room and served as a schoolroom. It was then converted into a gallery space, and the first exhibition was held in 2011.
