Content description
Chalcots Counterpart Lease for a number of pieces of land for 18 years from Lady day 1855, from the Provost and College of Eton to Mr Lemos Willoughby. Contains the details of the counterpart lease, a map of the area of Chalcots between Albert Road, Chalk Farm Road, High Road and Upper Arena Road, with the land leased by this indenture, sold and exchanged with the crown, sold to the London and North Western Railway and resumed for building coloure coded, and a reference list of the different pieces of land and the value at which they were either sold and exhanged so they could be resumed for building or leased by this indenture. Signed, sealed and delivered with witnesses.
