Content description
Counterpart Agreement for Building Leases, made between the Provost and College of Eton and Henry Gregory and Henry Robert Bence. Gregory and Bence have agreed to take several pieces or parcels of land in the Chalcots Estate. Contains the details of the agreement and a street plan, with the land included in the agreement coloured red. Signed, sealed and delivered with witnesses. Accompanied by a second, smaller, agreement, dated 29 March 1882, between the Provost and College of Eton, and Gregory and Bence, altering the original agreement, changing the minimum number of houses to be built from 38 to 37.
