1. Mayor, Bailiff and Burgesses of the borough of New Windsor 2. Provost and College of Eton. To prevent the river cutting away the ground of the College called the Playing Leaze, the College are permitted to erect a fence, dam, hedge or pile in the water within the parish of New Windsor, to begin at the easy end of their [burgesses'] water and to extend to the Provost and Fellows' Eyot on the north side of the water of Thames htere. Also one jetty above the said fence westward, which shall be made out of the Eyot which may extend 12 feet into the water of the Mayor and Burgesses. The fence to remain for ever. Covenants concerning passage and fishing. Seal of the Mayor and Burgesses Endorsed: No. 11; Provost Rous's Exhibitions No 11 (crossed out) Agreement with the Corporation of Windsor to erect a fence or weir in the Thames; Deed of Trust
