Correspondence with ministry of labour and national service and the Board of Education about maintenance staff, primarily stressing Eton’s need for certain members of staff, requesting that Brickwood (bricklayer), Wakefield and Boyer (plumbers) be allowed to stay on at Eton as they would be unable to get on without them.
